Students participate in a broad-based introduction to visual communications concepts, technologies, processes, and to the world of work.  The program builds specific skills in graphic design, computer applications, pre-press, printing and photography.  Students work with outside customers to produce real products, and also develop a comprehensive portfolio to demonstrate their proficiency to future employers and/or admissions officers.  Field trips and co-op experiences expose students to a variety of career choices in the area of graphic design, printing, and photography.  Graphic Arts students also participate in the DECA student organization with opportunities for leadership, competition, scholarship, and community service.
