Students enrolled in the Computer Technology program are offered a curriculum that exposes them to a variety of career options, certifications, and college opportunities. Computer troubleshooting and maintenance is aligned with A+ Certification. Basic networking can lead to Network+ Certification. Students also learn basic and advanced Web page design, programming, and database development.  With this variety of topics, students develop skills that prepare them for entry-level work or for two and four year college programs. Students gain hands-on experience in our lab and by assisting in computer maintenance and repair throughout RTCC, as well as having the opportunity to work in area businesses via the Co-op program.
