Student Leadership Oranizations

There are 4 student organizations that RTCC students can participate in.

DECA, an association of marketing students

FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America

FCCLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

FFA, an association of Agriculture Education students

Each career and technical student organization (CTSO) provides a unique program of career and leadership development, motivation and recognition. Each provides a contextual environment for increasing academic, technical and workplace skills.

The basic CTSO unit for students is the local chapter. They are located in the 15 technical centers in Vermont as well as high schools with approved career and technical education programs. Each CTSO participates in a state association that is linked to a national organization.

Travel, competition, and scholarship opportunities are available to all members of a CTSO.
